The fiestas in Medina to honour Saint Antolin, the town’s patron saint take place the first days of September being its main event the fighting Bulls, the traditional encierros in which the bulls are led to the bullring early in the morning through the fields accompanied by horses then through the urban route between ‘talanqueras'. The traditional ‘capeas’ in the bullring, the cuts of young bulls’ context and the bull of the dawn (el Toro del Alba).

During these festival, religious celebrations, concerts and sports competitions are also held.
